Aqua

Aqua is a Danish-Norwegian eurodance music group, best known for their 1997 multi-platinum crossover single "Barbie Girl". The group formed in 1989 and achieved crossover success around the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group released three albums: Aquarium in 1997, Aquarius in 2000 and Megalomania in 2011. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most profitable Danish band ever.
In September 2016, it was announced that Aqua will perform "at least 10 concerts" as part of the Vi Elsker 90'erne ("We Love the '90s") music festival. It will be the first time Aqua has performed live in Denmark since 2011. On 20 September 2016, Aqua announced that Claus Norreen would not return to the group. Norreen said in a statement that his "musical focus" has changed and that he no longer desires to tour with Aqua, but still considers the remaining members of Aqua "his family".
On May 29, 2018, Aqua announced "The Rewind Tour" in Canada, with fellow '90s acts Prozzäk and Whigfield. In June 2018, Aqua released a brand-new single called "Rookie".

How much is it to book Aqua?

Celebrity booking fees are derived from many aspects, including current popularity, career stage along with the demand at the moment of inquiry. Breakthrough Xclusive will only discuss your offer with Aqua's management once we receive your formal offer with the event budget and engagement specifications.

What else do I need to budget for apart from the Aqua’s booking fee?

Travel and Hospitality expenses form an integral part of booking a Celebrity, these costs include but are not limited to first class flights, 5 star hotel bookings, limousine services, private catering, etc. Its also important to note that certain Celebrities travel with their Family, Management and Production team.

What are the payment terms to book Aqua?

If you event is less than 6 months ahead, 100% upfront payment will apply upon contract signing.
If you event is more than 6 months ahead, payment can be done in installments upon contract signing.

Will Aqua be interested to appear at my event?

A formal offer will need to be signed between your organization and BREAKTHROUGH Xclusive first, before presenting the offer to Aqua. The acceptance of the offer solely lies within the discretion of the Celebrity as they receive multiple requests on a daily basis from all over the world. If your budget does not factor that in, they may pursue an alternate invitation instead. We do not personally speak for Aqua, but in our experience rejections are usually the outcome of insufficient funding.

What assurance do I have that Aqua will appear as scheduled?

All final Aqua’s booking agreements are solidified by binding legal contracts, lawyers from all parties are involved in the signing of every contract.
