Dr. Phil McGraw is an American television personality, author, and former psychologist who is the host of the television show Dr. Phil. McGraw's fame began in 1998, when he began making weekly appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah Winfrey then helped McGraw launch his own program, Dr. Phil, in September 2002. The show is formatted as an advice show. In October 2003, he launched the Dr. Phil Foundation which is dedicated toward fighting childhood obesity.
Dr. Phil has received 29 Emmy nominations and won five PRISM Awards for the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse and addiction, as well as a MADD Media Award. Dr. Phil also won an Emmy Award as executive producer of the hit talk show, The Doctors, which is currently in its ninth season. In October 2015, he was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.

McGraw is frequently invited to offer expert testimony before Congress on high-profile topics, including the overmedication of children in the foster care system, the growing epidemic of type 2 diabetes, cyberbullying and domestic violence. He also is a regular guest on major news programs.

How much is it to book Dr Phil?

Celebrity booking fees are derived from many aspects, including current popularity, career stage along with the demand at the moment of inquiry. Breakthrough Xclusive will only discuss your offer with Dr Phil's management once we receive your formal offer with the event budget and engagement specifications.

What else do I need to budget for apart from the Dr Phil’s booking fee?

Travel and Hospitality expenses form an integral part of booking a Celebrity, these costs include but are not limited to first class flights, 5 star hotel bookings, limousine services, private catering, etc. Its also important to note that certain Celebrities travel with their Family, Management and Production team.

What are the payment terms to book Dr Phil?

If you event is less than 6 months ahead, 100% upfront payment will apply upon contract signing.
If you event is more than 6 months ahead, payment can be done in installments upon contract signing.

Will Dr Phil be interested to appear at my event?

A formal offer will need to be signed between your organization and BREAKTHROUGH Xclusive first, before presenting the offer to Dr Phil. The acceptance of the offer solely lies within the discretion of the Celebrity as they receive multiple requests on a daily basis from all over the world. If your budget does not factor that in, they may pursue an alternate invitation instead. We do not personally speak for Dr Phil, but in our experience rejections are usually the outcome of insufficient funding.

What assurance do I have that Dr Phil will appear as scheduled?

All final Dr Phil’s booking agreements are solidified by binding legal contracts, lawyers from all parties are involved in the signing of every contract.
